David enjoys the outdoors and traveling internationally not just for sightseeing, but for actually interacting and experiencing the unique locations hands-on. His passion for expedition multi-sport endurance races developed out of this desire for adventure and it has enabled him to travel to different continents and enjoy hiking through indigenous territories and across the continental divide in Costa Rica, white water rafting in Brazil, paddling through fjords in New Foundland and rappelling next to Bridal Veil Falls in Telluride, Colorado. Dave’s athletic background consists of snowboarding, skiing, hiking, road running, triathlons, soccer and mt. biking that have all created a valuable foundation for adventure racing. Dave’s independent computer consulting career and supportive family offers him a flexible schedule to travel and compete in numerous prominent races each year.

team “Discovery Team” finishing 19 th out of 60+ teams after 5 days of racing through the Sierra Gaucho area in southern Brazil.
2006, 2005, 2004 - Coast to Coast, Costa Rica, http://www.coasttocoastadventures.com/ : Competed on the 4- person team “Team NEARA” and raced from coast to coast across the country.

2006, 2005, 2004, 2003, 2002 - USARA National Championship 24-hour race, http://www.usaranationals.com/ Competed against the top co-ed teams of 3 from around the country in this challenging 24-hour race consisting of trail running, kayaking, mountain biking, and orienteering and have finished 6 th - 20 th overall out of 70+ teams.
2004, 2003 – Wild Onion (Chicago, NYC), http://www.urbanadventureracing.com Finished both races top 10 and under 24 hours.
2007 – The Bitter Pill, http://www.gmara.org/ : 1st place. Team "Wicked Pissah"
Genesis Adventure 12-hour and sprint race Series, http://www.genesisadventures.com/ : Competed as a member of Team NEMO/NEARA in many of the Genesis Adventure racing series races in 2005 helping Team NEMO/NEARA to a 3 rd place overall season series finish and in the process qualified for the USARA National Championship 24-hour race held in Tampa, Florida.
Ultimate Adventure Race Series, http://www.ultimate-race.com/ : As part of team “Wicked NEARA”, finished 1 st in the White Mountain race, and 2 nd in the Green Mountain race and won the overall series.
